Cool Post Up your Light-weight Evo!

Just like the title says, let's post up Evos with serious weight reduction. Let's see pics, parts, and pounds shaved off. Try to keep your weight estimates as realistic and proven as possible. Who has the lightest Evo???

For those of us who actually turn the wheel, "adding lightness" is one of the most effective and cost-effective mods. To a point... then it gets really expensive.

I would say motorsports would be a better fit.

Funny how some people love to try to ruin a thread for a post count. If you guys aren't interested in weight savings, no need to post on this topic I on the other hand am interested in weight savings for the evo. My Mercedes is the one I leave alone

psphinx81-if your not a fan of weight savings at all, why did you remove the spare tire and jack? LOL....

Jewish Santa- Evo General is where I would've posted this too Besides, show and shine is for non performance related and last time I checked weight reduction does affect performance Good try though....

Anyways, back on topic. Currently 2850 and will be an easy 100#'s lighter in two weeks.

Wow, what I would do to make my car that light! Without trading it for a RS of course .

Anyways, back on topic. Currently 2850 and will be an easy 100#'s lighter in two weeks. Changing to Apexi EXV N1 coilovers, carbon fiber seat, lightweight mustache and motormount bar, tire/wheel combo. When it's all finished I am going to corner weight it on a digital scale for exact info.
