I am worried I'll do the same thing, because my daily is a Corolla, and I often leave my work parking pass in one and drive the other to work, and then making a u-turn when I'm almost at work to go back for the parking pass. So I am sure I'll eventually make that same gas mistake, just hasn't happened yet...

Isn't adding a few more gallons of 104 still cheaper than causing damage to your engine?

Yes, just go add as much 104 as you can and then go about your business.

i would say put in at least 1/2 the number of gallons of 104 that u put in of 87. then i would still take it easy until u burned the whole tank. i only ran pumpgas (91octane) during my 1st break-in period. after that i have only run racegas.

i just figured $8/gallon was cheaper than a new motor...

I had a gas station attendant put in 87 by mistake when i specifically asked for 93. All I did was put fill up the rest with 100. Like it was said before though, just drive like grandma, or put in a few gallons of 104.
