because for you to raise the octane back to 'premium level' your gonna be spending alot. why not just let go of ur stress, use the regular gas for the utility of it (simple transportation) and burn it up? either way my point is WHY FREAK OUT? use it or buy a cheap siphon and take it out and dump in a beater (or a family members beater)

Actually I do it on long trips to save a little bit of money...

What a HUGE waste of money. You run race gas all the time in a 12 second Evo? Get a tune for whatever gas you use and you'll be fine. I bet your o2 sensors haven't worked in quite a while and your cat (if you still have one) is completely clogged because of the lead.

At least you didn't damage your motor.

Syphon it out? Take it to a mechanic? You guys are nuts.
Whats the big deal honestly? It is this exact reason why the cars have a low octane map. You did the right thing but its not the end of the world if this happens to future owners. The motor most definitley wouldnt blow if he boosted, it would just switch the maps.

Torco sells a race gas concentrate/accelerator that you can add to pump gas and raise the octane to whatever you need. The Torco race gas they sell at drag strips is actually this accelerator mxed with pump gas. Its the real deal, not the Pep Boys octane booster that changes 93 to 93.1. You can probably find it at your local speed shop.

One up that and drive to Home Depot and dump 1.5 gallons of Xylene (3 oct pts higher than Toluene) in your tank. $25 and you'll bring your octane rating into the mid 90s with half a gallon left over for fun.

I know a guy that drives a diesel truck every single day... but then one day he was driving his mom's car for some reason and accidentally put diesel in her lexus. It didn't work out to good for him or the car.....

Just stay completely off boost and you should be fine until the next time you fill up. And don't do it again
