Easy steps:

1. open glove box
2. extract manual
3. open to page specifying fuel requirements
4. read how it says that if you absolutely have to, the car can run on a tank of regular every now and then
5. stop worrying and drive with no boost for a while
6. refill with 91 (really wish I could ship you some 93 man, I feel your pain)
7. boost

not trying to be sarcastic ... really it's not that big a deal at all.

You have 104 local and you still put in 93? I'd just up the boost, get tuned for 104 and run that all the time.

I'm with you Tony

I don't see why you don't just ditch the tank of gas by siphoning it out, which is honestly pretty easy.

For those of us that like to do it a little cleaner, you can just disconnect the fuel return line in the engine bay by the throttle body and turn on the car, it'll pump it all out into whatever bucket/jerry can and you can put it back in your wife's car.

Of course that requires buying a can and longer hose.. Man, everyone used to do this at the track back in the DSM days just so we can run pure race gas...

Very true. Helped a friend of mine do this not too long ago. Disconnected his fuel line running to the motor and turned the key to accessory. When the fuel pump came on, it pumped out all the fuel into a can we had. Cake.

the car has a low octane map... i guess if you muffed up your stock fall back maps you might be up the river.

Acc won't cut it. You need to turn the key to the "on" position. Do NOT start the car!!!!!!!

Adding Torco accelerator to the tank is the easiest solution. It works, and there's no messing around with siphoning or draining the fuel system.
