Upgrading my 2003 evo 8!

Hello everyone i bought an evo 8 about a month or so ago and am planning on doing some work to it. I have around $2,000 or so to spend.

My car currently has EXEDY twin disc clutch, stainless braided clutch line, three inch turbo back exhaust, cam gears, HKS 272 cams, ARP studs, 255 LPH fuel pump, custom tune, Injen intake and inter cooler piping, swift lowering springs, axis pads, drilled and slotted rotors, and stainless o2 housing.

What upgrades would you guys recommend for the most performance gains? (I am still a novice on what to upgrade)

Snowmeth Methanol Injection, ETS Intercooler, EVO IX Turbo and a tune! Should be about 2K if you install it yourself! You need a 9 turbo with those cams, makes a huge difference, stock 8 turbo chokes up top with the cams you have, I had it happen to me, you will feel so much more up top power!

u could get parts to make the power u have become more efficient. for example u mentioned cams but did u also install valve springs & retainers? you're making more than stock power so have u upgraded ur radiator/radiator piping? on ur brakes u didn't mention SS lines or higher temp brake fluid. u have springs but have u added any strut bars or a rear sway bar? how about stickier tires so u can actually improve ur braking/suspension??

i mod cars in this order- Brakes/Suspension/Power repeat twice then add looks

everyone has some good suggestions. drive the car for a while and see what areas you want it improved on, then go from there. good luck!

Get an Evo IX turbo or an FP Green or just port the evo ix turbo. Port you exhaust manifold and look into an upgraded front mount. Get a snow performance kit in there and a nice tune and you should really feel a difference
