My voltmeter shifts from 12-14 volts when i just turn the wipers on, or a turn signal.

Does this happen to others too?

using oem mr gauge to read volts.

Well usually the voltage will drop when something goes on but it sould go back up to normal voltage after a couple of seconds.

when you put your wipers on, does the voltage shift in relation to the wiper speed?
in my civic it never did this.

I dont have a factory volt gauge its aftermarket. I will check tomorrow with my gauge though. What you said makes sense though.

I notice my voltage dips down to roughly 12V when I blast my A/C...This should be normal as typically when you start a motor, voltage dips as the motor draws a load of current...Same would apply for the wiper blades as I assume that is motor driven...

mine does. same with the blinkers. I have the BR mini battery.

I've also noticed the needle twitching at idle.

It will move accordingly with the loads(A/C, high beam, fan, etc). When I had the MR it occurred and now that I have another Mitsubishi voltmeter kit from a Evo MR on my Eclipse I still have the same issue. It moves when a significanmt load in being applied. So nothing to worry about.

yeah mine moves a lot. anything from the a/c to the wipers makes the needle move but it goes back to 14ish in like a second. the needle moves to the bass of the stock sound system. i think this is normal and not a problem

It shouldn't shift from 12-14 constantly. It should stay within the 14-13 volt range.

Mine used to move slightly when the bass hit playing music loudly. I took my battery out and desulfated/charged it up. Hasn't done it since.
