DISAGREE. For an EGT to be the most useful, the EGT probe should be installed on the manifold, preferably on runner 2 I believe. You really want the temperature coming out directly out of the head, not after it passes thru the turbo. It may not make too much difference, but enough that I don't hear people advising others to install it on the downpipe too often. You'll get the quickest response directly on the manifold, and the temperature will be the most accurate.

I think oil temp is more important than oil pressure.

Wideband O2
Great tool for determining if your running ruch/lean and error checking tunes performed by someone other than yourself. (security)

Oil Pressure
This will let you know that you havent cracked your block yet. Very good to have

Volt
I have one, but only because I have a high stress on my electrical system (subwoofers)

Fuel Pressure
If your doing basic bolt ons, you wont need this. It's more for serious! engines with high pressure and alot to loose from a decreased fuel supply.

Tranny Temp
A novel Idea, but probably not a big deal unless you race a lot.

Oil Temp
Yeah thats a nice one, but not too high on the priority.

Water temp
Seriously? Your stock cluster has a similar feature.

NarrowBand O2
This one is a piece of garbage, serves almost no purpose other than to randomly take a guess what your A/F is every couple of minutes or so.

There you go, if I forgot one let me know. The ones in BOLD are the ones I would get first.

So your just getting gauges to fill up a pod.....

You want a boost gauge....all the rest of your important information for a bolt-on car can be logged with a wideband (LC-1) and evoscan (knock).

But hey you car can be knocking away costing you power and possibly your motor but at least your oil pressure and oil temp will be good

I have a pyrometer for each cylinder which is nice when you're tuning. Otherwise, the only gauges I watch closely are boost, oil pressure, and oil temp.
