Long Distance Sales

IT SUCKS!

I've talked to about 4 people intrested in selling to me, (i dont count the dealers with the 7k+ mark up in that list either)

so far i've found 2 new evo's (silver w/roof) for 32k w/shipping included(OTD basicaly), totaly acceptable price. yet when we get down to it, so and so is out of town so i have to wait, bla bla bla! i guess a sales man is a salesman on the phone or off (weird though because i only talk to the sales managers)

So, unless you are just horrible in person, i'd say goto the dealerships yourself (if you can) much easyer to haggle 'n stuff, plus im going into this practicaly blind (or through the eye of a digital camera at best)

Though its very easy to just call some where else if your not happy with the service your getting, because reguardless your getting it shipped and there's LOTS of dealers out there

Anyway, wish me luck. hopfuly i'll join the club soon

I guess it's a much bigger hassle for you, since you live in Alaska. I visited only one dealership while I hunted for my car. I saved so much time by calling and emailing about 35 dealerships. The place I bought mine at was really good and honest in every aspect.

Talking oops

I guess my post sounds a little harsh on the sales men who are helping me (most have been great)

after talking to about 4 serious ones and narrowing it down to two solid offers (im basically down to financing with one) I guess im just getting a little impatient when minor snags arise

the guys down on the east coast are working hard for me (thnx skeet!) and i got some one from alcoa looking into an offer too

I'm just frustrated that its taking so long and long distance sucks because you feel totally out of control

Anyway, thanks for the hard work skeet, 'n frank from alcoa.

No problem. No matter how things work out, or where you get it from - I hope everything goes your way! Good luck.

Thanks again skeet, but I guess it wasn't ment to be

Apparently im too young and wet behind the ears... Financing denied w/o a co signer.. due to limited credit history

BAH! maybe i'll get a 2004 :/ hope those ones are as bada$$ as the 2003's are

I guess untill then i'll see if i can mount a turbo on my Chevy (hehe) just for fun, at least i'll get practice moding something!
