well I guess aluminum is more brittle when it's cold outside. It was a hot FL summer day when I had my incident. (knock on wood)
Glad you got her back on the road, looks like the rims held up just fine too! Now get some snow tires on them and hopefully you have some better luck in the future.

I f**ked around a couple years back and lost control at a turn in heavy dust but dry road at around 110 and end up hitting the curb with my drivers side wheel at around 75mph I have absolutely no clue how I didn't flip over and yeah lesson learned that's only time I tried anything like that on the street and my only time my evo gets ***ED! The wheel was at a 60 degree angle to the floor pretty bad....so yours is a nice and easy fix compared to mine just make sure to get an alignment when everything is done

I just recently bumped a curb going ever so slightly sideways as the road was turning but the car was not.. i bounced off the curb but when i stopped the car there were no visible signs of damage, not even any marks on the enkeis.. i drove it around a bit and everything feels fine.. is it possible that i may have messed something up?
