I still have the broken parts, only thing is, you got off luckier than I did. My lip is hanging kinda, under tray is ****ed, and so is one of my bbs wheels. Luckily, I'm gonna replace that crap and I have a set of stock IX wheels. Best of luck yo ya on the repairs! its a doozey!

I was lucky becuase it was only the wheel that hit, the suspension links absorbed the impact. Have a look at the pics... the cast hub/knuckle sheared off. I can imagine the upper and lower links absorbed some force too. I guess I won't be able to tell until I take them all the car... that way I can measure them on a flat surface and play spot the difference with my new parts. Should be fun. Not

I think we should all sign a petition stating that we would like all concrete curbs to be replaced with soft rubber ones!
To be honest I was practicing sliding the car on ice. Controlled slides, scandanavian flicks and such. This wasn't on a public road.
I wasn't going that fast at all but I lost grip in a controlled slide.... which turned into a slow, uncontrolled slide towards the curb.
It was my own fault really and I knew the risks involved. Unfortunately practicing driving techniques can be pricey. Lesson learnt, it's all a learning curve I guess.

Good luck with the repairs.
On a side note do any Tuning company make CNC cold forged control arms, hubs
(upright, knuckle) for the evo? If no.. they should!
Hell they should make the upright from magnesium too, that would be a huge weight saving.
