I think my rim is damaged too I was lucky becuase it was only the wheel that hit, the suspension links absorbed the impact. Have a look at the pics... the cast hub/knuckle sheared off. I can imagine the upper and lower links absorbed some force too. I guess I won't be able to tell until I take them all the car... that way I can measure them on a flat surface and play spot the difference with my new parts. Should be fun. Not

Ooo I take it you've meet Mr understeer? Was it wet out? Did you brake and then slide?

I think we should all sign a petition stating that we would like all concrete curbs to be replaced with soft rubber ones!

It was my own fault really and I knew the risks involved. Unfortunately practicing driving techniques can be pricey. Lesson learnt, it's all a learning curve I guess.
Bummer dude.
For you attitude though.
Good luck with the repairs.

On a side note do any Tuning company make CNC cold forged control arms, hubs
(upright, knuckle) for the evo? If no.. they should!

Hell they should make the upright from magnesium too, that would be a huge weight saving.

Seriously though it's bad isn't it? No wonder the roads are terrible.

I try to power wash under the arches as often as I can.

I saved this picture a while back off this forum. It's a nice clear image of the rear suspension setup. Thought you guys might be interested if you didn't see it.
