Should I?

I have a Greddy Evo 2 Catback and Im about to order a Helix v2. Downpipe and Perrin HFC. What do you guys think? If you dont recommend it. Why?

Just make sure the helix dp is actually 3", also make sure you can get away with the HFC in cali

I looked up the HFC online it says it's street legal. Then again, cops here are ruthless.

I wouldnt worry about the cops, I would worry about emmissions, you need to make sure its CARB legal and have the paperwork to back it up at inspection

How can you find out if it's carb legal or not? Cant I just take it off when smogging the car?

You can take it off when smoggin it but then you have to get new gaskets and labor blah, blah, blah. Call the company and simply ask them or look around for the answer.

Look here this is the answer on it so you got a 50/50 chance when you smog it of getting it by. Per their website its not legal so you would have to take it off to be totally safe.

I put the Works HFC on my car. Just save the stock one so when it comes time to smog, just swap it back in.

^^ or you can take the heat sheild off the stocker and put it around the HFC, alot of people do this in cali to get it by, I think there is even a post about this
