Light Bulb

Hello,

My passenger side light bulb has gone out. I got into an accident and the housing has condensation in it because I think it has opened a little bit. Can I just buy a new bulb and close the housing again? Where do you guys recommend that I go to get the most inexpensive light bulb, they are HIDS. Thanks in advance, any input is appreciated.

hidking.com has the high quality ones. Also, I'd give re-sealing the housing a shot. You have to get all the condensation out before you seal it though.

Remove the headlight and try to bake it in the oven to soften the seals and spilt the housing from the lens. Then clean out the condensation and check to see if the seal itself is letting in condensation.

Anyone know where I can get the cheapest HID bulb available? Also, can I put regular NON-HIDS on an HID evo? thanks

No. You can't put non-HID's in an HID Evo without changing out the headlight assemblies.

Each headlight assembly costs over $1200 from the dealership.

Contact EvoDave, as I think he would have a very cost-effective option for you.
