Yeah i was thinking it could be the wiring but I'm not too sure myself... and man I should start looking for salvaged parts for Evos I didn't think so many were damaged xD?

 

So this morning we went to try to start the car with the mechanic and it started up just fine!!! After looking at it all day, the mechanic said he couldn't figure out why it all of a sudden was starting (since it wouldn't start the night of the accident). The only error that the ECU threw was some sort of timing error...

...anyway. This is really bizarre. Any thoughts?

 

Did you get your timing checked out? That could cause it

 

Underhood relays. Check to see if they've popped out. Seriously. Go check them.

 

gud to hear its running again. check everything to make sure things are in order. i bet the ecu threw a couple of codes causing the starting problem. i guess you should have reset your ecu.

 

Bah. I didn't even notice that you had got it started. Crank angle sensor?

 

Hi there i own a mistsubishi evolution 6 and when i have a full tank of fuel the car boosts all the way to redline however when it drops to half a tank of fuel or lower it start cutting out at 5000rpm the needle on the boost guage isnt dropping when it cuts out does any one know what could cause this problem?

Maybe something to do with the fuel pressure.
