nothing about the calipers those are 1 year 15,000 miles they told me. so just repaint them and buy the brembo decals off ebay.

Hmm, here is a thought:

Leave the F%*#ing wing on! Its there for a reason! An evo without a gaudy wing is like a bull without its.... well u get the idea.

I think it's a pretty good excuse to get that carbon trunk now since I don't think you have any warranty left on the car as is, unless of course you bought some extra "extended warranty" from a 3rd party.

Quite honestly, dealers do not stand for that for a lot of reasons outside the scope of this thread. However, due diligence and let the dealer decide thru a job order if it is under warranty or not.
I believe that 5 year/60k miles bumper to bumper you mentioned is for '05 and higher Evo's while he drives an '04, which I think has the 3 year/36k (that should've expired sometime last year at the latest), I don't see how he can claim any warranty from Mitsubishi with this.

I still think it's BS that won't cover this. Why does it matter if I removed "MY" wing or not??

So, you'd rather leave it on and not worry about your vehicle rusting like that?

If I hadn't already taken mine off the other day, and stumbled across this thread. I'd remove it anyway just to fix this problem.
