You definitely would not get away with that in Texas. He'd be dead which is what the worthless piece of sh_t should be. It's a shame the people in states like California do not have the legal right to defend themselves from monsters like this.

California is where it s at w/ 3 strike rule...people drive better there than Texas....Re-watch the vid robertinaustin, at .15 seconds he claims he is a killer from H-town (Houston) and this PT incident is in sunny Vegas. 3 strike rule in CA he would/will be locked up forever probably. Typical Houston Texas crack-head angst attitude.

Look at this recent Houston/Galveston, TX story! Worse than road rage...Baby rage!

I have no idea who he is or where he's from (can't understand him). But, I can tell you, having lived in both Texas and California, he'd be dead in Texas and in California, the driver does not have the right to defend herself. California, among other states, does not respect and individual's right to defend his/ her person from attacks like the one shown.

Honestly, that dude needed his *** taken down. He is out of control. I would hope even someone that doesn't believe in violence or guns would have someway to defend themselves in that situation. Now as for me, I would've tried to avoid it, but, that was a threat on that drivers well being, and in utah that is good enough to defend yourself by whatever means necessary. Especially if I had my kid in the car.

Point being...don't being a tire iron to a gunfight haha. Thus any firearm would have been of good use, imagine if that guy had tried to strike you with that tire iron. .
Usually in those situations, just showing that guy you are armed and willing to defend yourself in a situation where he is attempting to critically injure you is enough to make him pucker and cease action. Don't know too many guys that wouldn't be trembling at the recieving end of a .45 pointed at their chest.

The problem with this scenario of "showing you are armed" is a catch 22 situation...

You either shoot to kill and be judged by 12 (basically, if my firearm is coming out of it's holster, it's going to be used to defend my and my family's life. There must be a burden of doubt in my mind that I would escape the situation alive for me to take someone's life. Such case in point, a tire iron. God gave me 2 arms and 2 legs to fight with, but not to fight against a man armed with a tire iron...

or

You get charged with brandishing a firearm and get your CCW taken away or in other words, your lifeline...

That is true. I didn't mean it to sound as use you firearm to flex your muscles, but rather use your firearm to hold your ground in that situation. Technically speaking if someone is classified attempting assault with a deadly weapon you have full right to draw your weapon. I'd much rather keep in in the holster than ever pull it out or god forbid have to use it, but if a guy is coming at me with a bat, knife, tire iron, etc and I have no choice or anywhere to retreat back , I would definitely draw my weapon as an attempt to deter him from attack mode.

WTF was up with that guy? Is he on crack or is he naturally like that?
I would have ran that idiot over after the first swing.
