I paid $125 for Clear UV tint up front and 5% on the back windows and rear. Damn California laws.

Anyone know if you can get the tint on the back window taken off without screwing up the defroster strips?

I think mine was $150 for 35% all around.

It's dark enough to hid a face in the day, but not dark enough to make you look suspicious.

$250
20%
3M FTW!

I def recommend the 3M film. Doesn't interfere with reception or radar and isn't as dark as the 20% I have on my civic, so even 20% isn't too hard to see out of at night, just dark enough that people can't see in. Just make sure you take it to a good shop that will take their time to do it right. A place that has the pieces cut by a computer helps, as all of the pieces will be the exact right size and straight cuts.

Yes you can remove the rear tint without screwing up the defroster if you/your tech knows what they are doing.

I got 35% all around and I think its perfect. I had 30% front and 20% rear on my eclipse and that was pretty good also.

15% front and 5% rear on my 1g was great... until it was dark and there weren't 1000W light bulbs behind me.... I couldn't see where I was backing up for ****.

Where did all you freaks get tints for $120? Thats a steal! My tinter is the cheapest in my area and all 3 of my cars were $180-200 (but 2 included removal).

I have 35% all around as well. This is the best % as far as I am concernd. I have had lighter and darker. I have had it since 2005 and not been hasseled yet. 50% in front and any in back is legal here in OH. Llumar is the tint I am using. Good luck.
