Advice on next mods

Ok so I've got the following mods:

TB exhaust
MBC (Boost gauge too, of course)
Cone Filter
Tuned

Now I know the basic routes of upgrades, I suppose I'm lacking a walbro however I don't plan to push more then 22PSI on my IX.

So Perhaps a walbro for 89.00 wouldnt hurt.

What's everyones take on next cheap power mods- just jump to meth? IC piping (worth it?), Recirc Bov? What's everyone thinking...

In the future I def want coilovers and maybe cams but can't afford right now!

I've searched around and viewed the TTP staged upgrades, etc. but don't feel the need for the SS clutch line, etc. for now- going for the major power adders first then do the small stuff.

Thanks!

hemm, u talking tb exhaust starting w/ bigger o2 housing, down pipe, test pipe or highflow cat. then definately for any future mods, walbro fp would be good, i would say the next biggest power adder would be the cams, that would give u noticeable power gain. hard piping especially the lower ic pipe is good mod, or like u said meth... lots of quick extra hp

Walbro isn't needed at your level because you've got an Evo 9, not an Evo 8. Not until you start looking at 400 WHP do you need to worry about that, unless you're just wanting to do it now as opposed to later.

I'd say cams and a front mount would be your next good mods. IC piping is more for bling than anything. The turbo compressor outlet size doesn't change any, so they don't make much difference.

I would do the pump anyhow and move onto cams and ARP studs since you will be in there for cams anyhow. Then onto TTP O2 housing.

agreed... cams with new gears and a better belt over stock. you could never go wrong with be IC pipes... but i maybe look at a set up that would be compatible with a bigger FMIC or with a bigger turbo (if you plan on going that far)

He doesn't need injectors with stock turbo.

Furthermore he especially does not need injectors with methanol.

ive had a few cars up this way hitting over 100% IDC with bolts ons and cams. Basically because of the temp. In the summer they will be fine im sure.

100% IDC does NOT mean all of the injector has been used. Evos can run well over 100% IDC without a problem. 100% IDC does not mean injectors need to be replaced.

in all cases, the dyno graphs show durastic power loss as soon as over 100% is achieved during the logs as well as adjusting the fuel table is not making any changes to the actual AFR... they are out of the injectors.
