^ Closer to 0.36 though.

damned thing's a brick with wheels. I think an uncarved pinewood derby block has less cd. Only slightly though.

Just curious, are there ways to decrease the drag on the car (i.e. taking off the spoiler, undertrays, etc.) or will the effect be negligible?

Going wingless is usually the easiest, most practical way to decrease drag, though obviously it will be at the cost of downforce which you will notice mostly when cornering hard. Other ways vary in practicality... some other things people do is to get more aerodynamic mirrors (like on some of the FQs) or mess with the underbody airflow by purchasing certain parts. Lowering sometimes helps. It just depends on how much money you want to spend and how serious you are about going faster.

But at the other end of the spectrum, there are some people who, in the quest for being as aerodynamic as possible (though obviously at a certain cost), have gotten thinner wheels (with fewer and smaller openings on the rim) and tires, shaved door handles, sealed panel gaps (not permanently), etc., all of which is a little overboard and not really too ideal for a daily-driven track car.

Forget about it. The EVO is a Aerodynamic Brick. If you drag race you can seal off the ducts on the front end. That is what Buschner does.

+1 the AMS evo (yea the topgun one) has a removable plexiglass shield covering the whole front dam except for the turbo inlet.

Some of you guys are overestimating a bit by calling the Evo a "brick." Obviously 0.36 is nothing to be proud of, but it's decent for a reasonably roomy four-door sedan with a huge wing on its trunklid, as such parts that aid downforce sometimes add drag. Most other performance cars that have better Cd are usually tiny two-doors that don't have much room on the inside. Even the Ferrari F430 has a Cd of 0.33, despite all of its wind tunnel testing (though downforce was a pretty big priority as well). On the other hand, despite being a two-door fastback-like coupe, the Ford Mustang GT500 has a Cd of 0.38. Now that's brick-like, and it's a coupe.
