Just got my 2005 evo 8 and want to change the oil I was told by a couple shops that it uses 5 2/5 qt of mobil 1 fully synthetic...is this true? that seems like a lot of oil for a 2.0L. Two, what is the best way to test and see if your clutch is going out.
Thanks

I always add around 4.75 quarts of mobil 1 oil everytime I do an oil change.
For the intake I would just do a drop in filter if you wanted best bang for the buck. It keeps the intake stock looking so cops won't hassle but you can still get decent power gains.

Well they don't add any real power and most guys just end up replacing them in the end. UICPs are more for throttle response and bling. Injen pipes follow the stock path so it isn't cutting out any bends.
I'd say take the $300-400 you would spend on the Injen kit and get just a Buschur or Apexi air filter. The Injen kit may seem like a good deal, but I don't think it is IMHO.
