I have no idea. Long story short, I bought the car from place a work at and had very limited ability to talk the previous owner about the car. I love the car and want to do things the right way of course. I have to sell my Acura CL-S first to have any mod/tune money. Right now I limit the driving of the EVO until I sell the CL then the EVO will be my DD.

Is this more quiet than the Tanabe Touring cat-back?

Call Nick @ DTM. I also sent him a PM about this thread so I am sure he will chime in.

Trust me there IS NO WAY THAT THAT CAR IS RUNNING THAT LEAN!
Stop by and I will give you as many free dyno runs as you want to prove it. It may have been a sniffer Wideband reading. And the car, if tuned by us, has a lifetime tuning schedule. Meaning that as long as you have the stock turbo, the tuning is free.

Enjoy the car

edit: the car has a stock exhaust and CAT? That would explain alot.

I decided to take it to Curry's Auto to have it dyno'ed with air/fuel and boost readings. I was surprised at how much boost its running and the power it made.

Perrin MBC
HKS panel Filter
Custom tuning

Here is my Dyno Sheet (Mustang AWD Dyno) (Sorry I really don't know what correction factors they used.)

Bottomline, this car is my DD and I plan on keeping it for the next few years. I want it to be reliable as possible. I would ideally like to obtain 320ish awhp on a mustang dyno WITHOUT Exhuast modifcations. Do anyone of you think that maybe upgrading to a turbo from an evo9, cams, and great custom tuning will get me there? Any advice/comments will be appreciated! I have been researching a lot. I do not want to have an exhaust to Northern VA police being Import ****'s! I dont really plan to track or street race, I just want an DD beast!
We have a solution for your exhaust tone

I feel the boost is set too high and you might start to show some knock count. If you want a rock solid DD car, you need to make it safer.

Back in the day (you know, when there were only hundreds instead of thousands of exhaust options) the Injen was THE quietest one I could find after 6 months of pretty serious searching. Entirely possible there are quieter ones now, but I loved mine.

Way too lean on top as depicted by the logs / dyno.

Hey guys thanks for all the responses. I hope it didnt come out that I was meaning DTM did a bad tune or something! I only got a very little info from the owner about the car and he did mention it was at DTM (at some point) for a tune. Whether the previous owner had stuff on then took it off before sale or cranked the boost up before the sale is more the likely situation. My intention was to for others to help diagnose the car and give suggestions of what I should do. I thank you all for the replies!!
