Electrical problem

Ok so it's been sleeting out tonight and i got off work my car was covered in ice. I drive home and it was fine i go to pull in the driveway and backing up to the garage I stalled it. Everything electrical shuts off and I can't start the car again all lights are dead. I tried disconnecting the battery and reconnecting (its in the trunk by the way) but still no juice. In the morning I will check fuses and what not but any ideas what could have happend? Maybe the melting ice had somethin to do with it.

Does it even crank? If not, try a different battery. What mods have you done to the car?

It must have something to do with water getting on something since the battery is in the trunk I'm going out now to give it a good look.

I found the problem. It was the 80amp inline fuse on the power wire goin back to the trunk for the battery. I replaced it with another 80amp but eventually I will take the 4gauge kit out and put a 2 gauge relocation kit in. That should help my slow startup I think.
