92 octane pump gas because that is what I always fill up with. I wanna know how fast my car is capable of "as is" im not trying to impress by throwing in hi-ocatne fuel.

noone doubts a time is possible... what were your mods to run a 12.3 at 113 ?

im sure more than a boost controller which does nothing to free up air flow and was supposedly set at 2 psi higher than stock.

its not hating... its just a very difficult thing to believe. not calling him a liar, but wow. Like i said, he has to have the fastest evo in the world mod for et results

I ran 12.9 in my first ever run on my 9......BR stage 1, 21 PSI, 91 OCT and 3800 feet elevation.

regular shifting with a 1.7 60 and 107 MPH. Don't know the exact math but this same run on 93 OCT and sea level should net me not worse than 12.5.

I'm from PR so that must explain why my EVO ran that good despite the elevation and crappy tune from dynoflush.

Anyways, the point is...with an EVO or any good performance car....it's all in the driver. Back home we have some of the best driver in the world.......and that's why I believe with only a MBC an a TUNE...that guy ran that time...I have seen it personally. (other cars of course)

it's a 12.1 at 113

Exactly what you see in my sig at 22psi.. no O2 housing, cams or IC piping and stock intake box. 3" catless exhaust that unfortunately tapers. There are numerous people that have seen me go 12.1, 12.2 and 12.3. I do not flat foot shift and I use the clutch+release the throttle every shift without 'banging' anything. Check on Nasioc as I post there more than I do here. I have posted my slip before and I can post it again.. or just come to the track and we can share technique And thank you for the compliment!

you just solidify my point....

you have a full 3" TBE .... even if it tapers a bit.... you are able to move more air. You have a drop in filter that is less restrictive than the stock filter. All this is believeable... my car TBE, MBC, drop in and tune ran a 12.3. There are things that are likely... and i stress likely, because anything can happen. Drivers, cars and tracks are different. Our track here sucks.... the prep is terrible. If i go to rockingham... the same mod list will yield me something in the high 11's. Restrictive air flow will just not allow a car to do amazing things.....

that is why i said he has to have the fastest IX in the world... with his numbers, throwing and exhaust, O2, manifold, LICP..... items proven to give good power.... a tune, he should be running mid 11's in the 120's at least which is amazing on a stock turbo and barely any mods

the difference betweeen trapping in the 120's and our 112-113s is probably over 100whp/weight reduction which I don't see possible in those mods you listed without spray or something. But you don't need to trap in the 120's to run mid 11s.

here maybe this will help, this is 22psi peak, 92 octane dyno run pig rich 10.5-10.8 uptop.

if i increase to 25psi with good 11.5 air/fuel ratios. my goal is 12.5.
