I think that's driving and practice, just for information, that day I made 11 passes...

#1 - 10:39 am - 14.6 @ 93.35, 2.46 60 ft, missed 3rd, lol, no drop clutch
#2 - 10:45 am - 13.7 @ 105, 2.47 60 ft, no drop clutch
#3 - 10:50 am - 13.63 @ 105, 2.366 60 ft, no drop clutch
#4 - 10:56 am - 14.12 @ 104.6, 2.596, bad driving again, lol
#5 - 11:02 am - 13.97 @ 105.8, 2.588 60 ft, no drop clutch
#6 - 11:08 am - 13.00 @ 106.33, 1.93 60 ft, Finally I started to drop the clutch...
#7 - 12:09 pm - 13.02 @ 106.38, 2.00 60 ft
#8 - 12:14 pm - 13.02 @ 107.15, 2.019 60 ft
#9 - 4:20 pm - 13.10 @ 106.9, 2.080 60 ft
#10 - 6:07 pm - 12.57 @ 108.21, 1.797 60 ft, The Magic Pass!!!!
#11 - 7:01 pm - 12.75 @ 107.09, 1.81 60 ft, Not good enough

See that's there no magic in there, just practice, remember the car was 1 month purchased with 700 miles and warranty bumber to bumper, don't attempt this at home...lol

the only way to find out what you will run is just to run. I went to the track for the first time this past sunday with one goal in mind. Get into the 12's with a stop light roll out. Best was 12.6 @ 113. For my final run decided to use my 2 step and launch cause my stock clutch held up great with 52 k on it. Ended up with
12.08@114. My friend with a 9 mr se ran 12.38 @ 109 with full turbo back, boost controller, and k&n drop in. His numbers were 336 and 350 on AMS (Gaithersburg) dynojet.

if you are standard weight to just pulled out the spare tire weighted evo.... you almost have to trap 118 to 120 or better to hit 11.5 or better. on our track, trap speeds of 115 to 120 with a 1.7 60ft yield you about 12.0 to 11.5

just look at your trapspeed on your timeslips... that will tell you right away if 1)you are making enough power for a 12sec timeslip (usually upwards of 106mph) and 2) how bad your driving is affecting your ET (also look at your 60ft)

lets say you trap around 108mph... but run a 13.5. Look at your 60ft because it had to suck and it was your driving that yeilded the slow ET not the car. w/ similar basic mods i ran a 12.5 and from my 60ft, i had alot left in the 60ft... just get out to the track... only way you'll know.
