Lancershop A Pillar Replacement Pod

If done a little research on this and have read alot of members ordered a a pillar gauge pod on lancershop. Only to find out that it was a cover and not the full replacement. Ive noticed on their site that they have a cover and a replacement. http://lancershop.com/customer/produ...&cat=22&page=1 IS this the one everyone is saying is advertised wrong or is this a replacement as its stated on their site?

well i ordered the dual a pillar gauge pod version of what you linked from them last month and it was a cover. all you have to do is cut the top and bottom of the stock a pillar and screw the cover onto the stock a pillar and clip it back onto the car. here's how it looks

same thing

Same thing bro, mine is from the same company. It has to be screwed or glued to your original a-pillar since the stock a-piller has clips that lock them in place.

So, if it's a replacement then it will have clips? And if it's just a cover it wont have any clips? Can you please verify because I just got mine in the mail and it doesn't have any clips. I want the full replacement.

I want a full replacement too, I was thinking of ordering the same POD because my current one is screw in, and I'd rather it just clip in and look cleaner.

i'll look clean if you do what i did. can't you tell from the picture i posted? just cut the top and bottom part of your stock a pillar and screw your gauge pod onto it. that way there wont be any gaps or anything and it'll look clean. i can take more pics of the gauge pod with my gauges installed. one thing i had to do was make the holes a little wider because they were a little too small for my gauges.

I think the only thing they are implying by "full replacement" is that it covers the full pillar instead of just where you would put the gauge. I little poorly worded for sure. On the other hand, if you look at the picture you can see the snaps that hold it to the stocker....

i ordered the "full replacement" from them about a month ago. you either have to screw it to the existing a pillar or do what i or a few other people did: drill two holes in the a pillar of the car and get some longer screws and screw it there.

I got the carbon fiber double gauge cover from lancershop a few years ago..I covers the full a-piller and is held on with double sided tape (I put a screw in the top of it though because the tape was wanting to come off a little)..The one good thing about it though is that it comes with the replacement for the passenger side as well...Its not a full replacement but it will cover the whole a-piller and if you paint the tweater cover black it is a very clean setup.....

well i sent lancershop a email and they said its a "complete replacement kit that takes off the old a pillar and replaces it with this one". I just dont understand why lancershop would say that if its not. Im definitely not doubting you guys. I just think lancershop needs to get there crap straight. Wheres the rep from lancershop on here when you need him.
