I picked up some take out last night from a restaurant next to a super market. Usually I have to park pretty far just to avoid any carts, well last night the parking lot was pretty empty and there was parking in front of the restaurant so I parked there. The way I parked I could see the passenger side of the car from the restaurant. As I was walking towards my car I noticed the guy who parked next to me getting into his car. When I get to my car I put the food in the passenger side and as I walk towards the driver side the guy who parked next to me glances at me and leaves the parking lot in a hurry. I didnt understand what his rush was until I got to the driver side of the car. This fool leaned his cart against my driver door! I couldnt believe that this a$$hole decided to lean his cart on my car, he could have left it any where. Since he was to lazy to walk 10 feet to bring the cart back he still could have left it some place else. Now I got scratches all over my driver door. The scratches are light, not to deep, and I hope will come out but I still cant believe this scum bag had to put the cart against my car.

you able to get his license plate? If you did call the cops and report him. Get an estimate to see if it's worth it compared to your deductible.

This isn't as bad as when I saw a Jaguar surrounded by about 20 carts at a Target, all touching with denting and scratching. A cart pusher probably played the prank on the poor sap. I'd get tired of fetching carts pushed WAAAAAAAAY down the parking lot too.

 

All you need is that one time that you think something wont happen and it will... Sorry to hear that, I would have jumped in my car and chased the ****er down or atleast tried to get his plate

 

I didnt get his plate by the time I saw the cart on my door he was gone. I am gonna bring it to my friends shop to see if the scratches can come out when I get the car detailed.

There would be a severely beaten cart pusher found in the target parking lot if it were my car.

for the OP, it will probably buff out with a decent polish if it's not below the paint.

If you feel like polishing the scratches yourself find a place that carries 3M products. Part #39007 Hand Glaze, works wonderfully at taking fine scratches out. I use it all the time for detailing and then follow it up with wax afterwards.

 

that sucks...reminds me of last week some moron door dinged my car...i try so hard to keep it nice its like everyone is against someone with a nice car
