Fender bender

So the weather in Western, NY was a little, no pretty crappy last night and I ended up rear ended someone. The hit itself was not hard at all but my front bumper is a cracked and seems to be angling down a bit. Hood has a hard time closing and it looks like my intercooler was nudge back a tad. Nothing leaking and i drove it today and everything seems good.

Will insurance fix this? or should I look into buying a new bumper and where can I a buy a stock 05 evo 8 MR bumper if I need to?

I was so mad i woke up at 7am the next day after going to bed at 3am and bought a set of blizzak tires to prevent this.

Do you think anything was damaged that i can't see?

I'd get it checked out. As for insurance, might go up; might not depending on who you have. If you have full coverage they'll take care of it, but you may get a little hike.

If you're comfortable with your agent talk about it 'off the record'. one time mine told me not to claim something minor to avoid a hike. However, since you rearended someone it's going to come up as you being at fault.

Good Luck! Hopefully the person in front doesn't get $$'s in their eyes and claim outrageous neck, back pains etc.

you might as well have it looked at and see if the dealership/body shop notices anything wrong and go from there

^^ and also you might want to get a new bumper support that runs in front of your intercooler. That's probably what's pulling your bumper down. If there's an uneven gap where your fender and bumper meet, you probably bent the beam down. The EVO is very fragile IMO.

Thanks guys for all your reply's, its helped eased my stress. Another thing i noticed, never really noticed it before but i went out today to the grocery store for some items and stepped on it a bit to see if everything was ok performance wise. I kept checking the boost gauge and it would never hit 1.5 (MR gauge) 21psi correct? do you think something is loose/leaking? I'll try to get some pics up tomorrow, calling insurance tomorrow too.
