So I am looking to squeeze a little more power out of my evo VIII, but I use the car as a daily commuter so I am not trying to see 90 decibels at highway speed. My question is how bad is the drone going to be if I run a full turboback with a high flow cat?

I am coming from a 3.8 liter Eclipse GT that I had full headers, a high flow cat, and basically unrestricted exhaust. The car was a beast but it was unbearably loud.

Evo's are not very quite cars to begin with, but i didn't find it unbearable when riding in a friends car who is running HKS catback with high flow cat.

hks exhaust can be a little much. I have welded resonators into a few to tone them down...

Due to strange and strict car modification laws in HK...I am looling to modify my 99.9% stock Evo 9 GSR to increase the horses, hopefully to 300whp

I've read those the long list of modifications and am wondering how I can achieve the target whp but the engine bay stays almost the same as stock (look wise)?
