Trouble Codes and Pending Codes have a Question

Ok so i put my car on scan tech and it said i threw only one code.

But under the code area i have two codes showing up under trouble codes one being a P0000 with no description. The other codes was a P0403 and the description was Exhaust Gas Recirculation Malfunction.

Also under pending codes i had both of those listed and this other one a P0128 and there was no description for that either.

Anyone have any idea where these problems would be or where i could start looking to chase them down ?

Check your EGR valve to make sure the vacuum hoses are all still on. It's under the intake manifold. Make sure all your vacuum hoses are attached.

What does the egr valve look like ? Its like a small little sensor with three vacuum lines coming off of it and and a clip that plugs into it ?

No, I think that's that's a solenoid that your looking at. The EGR valve is bolted to the intake manifold, it's on the Throttle Body side of the intake manifold under the intake manifold. Either way make sure all of the vaccuum lines are connected and zip tied under there.

you have a cheap code reader thats why P0128 has no info therefore you gotta look that up on line or in a book

i believe the po128 has something to do with the thermostat/ect/cooling system. thermostat below regulating temp. or something like that. good luck!
