There is no way I'd let someone tune my car without a wideband. I even remember someones sig on this site having a quote that says "Tuning without a wideband is like having sex without a condom. Eventually you'll get something you can't fix." I'd wait till you get a wideband or get tuned professionaly by a shop with a wideband sniffer. It just scares me not knowing if I'm running lean or not.

 

Yeah well this guy comes extremely highly recommended, we'll see what he says, besides I cant afford a wideband right now......

People with Ix's are making 340 without cams or ported manifolds, not to mention running lower then 25psi

 

I think it all depends on the type of tune & dyno.

 

Ya, but if that was Mustang that would then be on the high side instead of low wouldnt it? But I guess maybe he has a very passive tune.
I mean on Socalevo theres plenty of IXs talking about making 330AWP+ wish less mods on 91 **** gas

If you cant afford a wideband how are you going to afford a new engine if it blows up under a lean condition

 

lol I know im not running lean lol....I barely have any mods done and plus I had it Jester tuned when I had these mods in.....and a Blown motor will only give me another DIY project HAHA

I'm running a hi-flow cat instead of a mid-pipe, so as far as low numbers, well, there ya' go... Next up is a 100 cell cat, ETS IC, Exedy twin and Aquamist...

 

What mods thus far? Just the cat?

Update! After going 11.9 at island no one seem to belive me?. Came down to e-town first pass was 11.957 60ft was 1.688. Came back around after all the **** talking stop then and there by my so call haters...LOL...im still running the car on pump gas,I up the two set to 6 grand and went all out running a 11.814 with a 1.720 60ft ok 4me they all just went home crying to mommy by the way happy mothers day to all your moms. I really wanna thank junior for helping me out after me being a pain in the *** calling him all the time..LOL..will post video up soon as i get it.
