Boost control solenoid HELP

While installing my MBC, my plier must have gotten stuck on one of the boost control solenoid outlets istead of just pure vacuum hosing... and it snapped off.

I am in the process of replacing it, however, I was going to cap it off anyway for now. What would happen if one of the outlets on the solenoid didnt get capped off? Would I see any problems?

Again, will be replacing it and capping off both outlets but until then want to be able to drive.

Thanks!

your car will obviously explode if you run it this way ...

You don't have to cap the solenoid, so you'll be fine. It will just try to work as normal and won't care if the nipple is broken or there at all.

You will just run at normal wastegate pressure, which is 12 psi, without a boost controller, or solenoid, attached. Just make sure you close the loop so you dont have any leaks. If you need to by pass the solenoid for now, just take the hose from the wastegate and plug it directly into the turbo outlet. This will force you to run 12psi.

He was in the process of installing a MBC when this happened. He was disconnecting the solenoid anyway, so he'll be fine.

LoL...don't listen to this guy^^^^. You can hook your MBC up and bypass that anyhow. You should have anything connected to it after you install the MBC. You can tape over the broken port on the solenoid if it makes you sleep better at night. I use rubber caps when I install an MBC and they work fine. If there is enough nipple left on the broken port just use a rubber cap. The guy above me didn't read your entire post.

Yes, bypass the solenoid and go straight to the flux capacitor....you need 5.7 gigawatts to make it work..

take the solenoid and leave it if you take it out your ses light will be on. Mine broke and the car has the light on all the time is frustrating.
