aftermarket fmic will help a bit on hot days, not sure if you will gain any hp, MBC would be good. I would go with same option as you did, since later on you dont need to worry about upgrading your fmic if you decide to go with more mods.

 

i dont think u woudl get any gains, is the IC really large?

i have driven a stock Evo 7 with an upgraded IC and it was experiencing slight boost lag comepared to before.. nothing major u will be fine....get some pics up....

i recently got into a bad accident myself and wanna fix back my car, the IC, radiator and air box are damaged!

 

Gave it a lil love today on my way out to lunch and it still boost to 1.4 on the MR boost gauge (20.3 psi) so it looks like no pressure drop.

Had the AMS fmic and lower pipe on my car for about a year. Still looks like it did the day I took it out of the box. I had very little pressure drop if any and about the same spool up. As for power I would say 5-15whp depending on your mods.
