Get new battery for the spare remote?

Only way to get it is either pay a tow truck guy to open the door (door balloon method) or break the window. Now I probably would much rather break the window then have the balloon method done. From my previous on experience on VW Jetta and Nissan Maxima the ballon method always bent the door and it never aligned the way it should when closed. Basically they slip in a peice of bag material and pump air to have it expand and push/bend the door slighly. Then they stick something like a coat hanger or stick to unlock the door lock.

Thats why I rather just break the window and pay for a new one then get a head ache that would bother me for a long time. But in your case with the spare remote, get a new battery.

Good luck.

that sucks man, if you were by my house I could use the big eazy(the door ballon method). I get lockouts all the time. I'am a public safety officer and I unlock doors for mostly women who lock their cars out all the time.

you can buy one from galls.com for like $50, lol.

no..i manage to pry it enough but not damage anything...also put a cloth in between the pry bar to prevent paint damage...pry only about few mm open to get the small long rod in to unlock the door...

Thanks, but luckely for me they were not my cars. It wasnt like the door was bent out of shape, but if you look really close you can notice that its a mm gap. Maybe the tow guys over pumped to pry the door than they actually needed to.

Why didn't you just get a battery for your spare remote? Would of been less of a hassle, don't you think?
