Anyways, I have decide to buy the cheap DP and Test-pipe on eBay. I hope it'll work ok. I know I'm trying to go cheap for now but if it doesn't work or last as good, I know I'll learn something from it. I would rather get brandname like Blitz or HKS but they're a little more than what I want to spend for now. Can somebody who bought the cheap stuff from eBay let me know how their car perform with the parts??

I mean, the reason I get it is because I believe that a 3" pipe from eBay is the same as the 3" pipe from HKS. They're all metal and they all rust. I'll get some pic up when I get it and installed.

Stainless doesn't rust.
And its more of a fitment issue than power gains.

There are certain things you purchase on ebay and things you don't. Just excercise what Thomas Paine published and you'll be fine. It takes talent to mess up an exhaust system. Just make sure the bends are good and it doesn't taper.

I have mostly ams parts on my car but I've seen many people run ebay stiff with no problems. The reason I chose the parts I have is my luck sucks and if i got ebay parts they would probably not fit. To each his own you'll be fine.

just don't go buying everything knock off. some parts you can go cheap, others will **** your **** up. exhaust though, saves you money but just don't expect a perfect fitment.

For the most part with exhaust stuff a pipes a pipe. There is more engineering into parts from AMS and Buschur, but good gains can be found from the Ebay exhaust, but thats all I would ever consider buying from Ebay for an Evo.

All the Evo IX (made to clear ACD unit) eBay downpipes that I've seen fit better than my Buschur downpipe. If I were to do it all over again I'd probably do an eBay or Megan downpipe/testpipe and a brand name catback since I do like the sound of my Buschur.
