28k and the clutch is gone

I'd say $300-400 tops for an Install if not DIY. I did mine at 34K miles it's not as bad as it looks like, just get a couple of your buddies and go at it. Also I'd recommend an Exedy Twin plate do it right the first time. The biggest pain is taking everything apart it's so very annoying and Tedious, the tranny is easy if you have a tranny jack. Just get some PB and loosen all of the bolts.

I can not imagine the punishment those who get new clutches at <30k miles must put on their cars.

I have 69k, still stock clutch. I've launched it a few times (>10) too and had a few autocrosses on it.

Having said that, the consensus based on my experience on these forums is the ACT is a good value.
