Sounds pretty relative for all awd cars. They all suck on gas, just normal.

I used some of Wayne Gerdes' tactics for a full tank and got over 30mpg. But I hated my evo afterwards. Just a bumpy loud slow car. After my little experiment it was back on the boost, and all those annoyances haven't come back since.

anyone with mods which improve your mpg objectively? if so what mod and by how much?

thanks!
Its mostly city driving for me a lot of stop and go, so gas mileage is pretty bad

Damn my mileage sucks to everyone else's and my EVO is bone stock...I average around 17 mpg and i drive 50% city 50% highway.

I do love hitting the boost quite often though....

i know right.

But thats what i love about low compression, big turbo cars. They are weak and econobox's off boost, but complete beasts on boost.

Plus...gas is expensive these days guys. Drive slow and be safe.
