evo daily driver - mpg

for all you evo daily drivers, what kind of mpg are you getting and is this mainly highway or city? what do you do to improve mpgs?

i keep my oil & air filter changed periodically, coast as much as possible and my commutes are mainly 25 miles on the hwy which gives me about 25 mpg.

anyone with mods which improve your mpg objectively? if so what mod and by how much?

thanks!

i get about 250 - 280 a tank as well.

lightly modded. just a tbe and a tune, with a mix of highway/suburban/highway driving.

i have seen as high as 420 miles per tank. that was on a long road trip i took though that was all highway driving on fairly level roads. i putted it around the whole time at about 60 in 5th.

i dont really care what i get, i mean if i start getting 10mph then i will be concerned. But who cares if i get 230 or 300 mile per tank?
im more concerned about performance and looks.
but my idle and cruising im at a 15.0 a/f ratio.

I usually get 230-260 out of a tank. I have had as little as 200 and as much as 298 out of a tank. I am running a high flow cat and a cat back exhaust from Works with a flash.

If I drive conservatively in the city, meaning shifting at 3-4k rpm and about 50% throttle, I can get around 250 miles to a tank.

My IX is bone stock except for a K&N drop in filter. I can tell the stock ecu runs damn rich.

Mixed Hwy/city driving. Staying off boost about 90% of the time.

200-210 tuned, but I drive in the triple digits everyday too work and boost alot back and forth. I never took it for a long drive on the highway to figure it out the best I could get, thats not why I bought an Evo
