evo daily driver - mpg
14-17 Suburbs of Philly. I reset the trip Odometer every tank. I usually get gas at 200 miles. 12 -14 gallons to fill it at 200 miles.
My trailblazer gets 11 MPG around town without a trailer, and 10 Highway with a 3000 lbs trailer.

Oh yeah I knew what I was getting into lol. Coming from dsms when I got an Evo I was already used to it. I had an e36 before and that wasn't great on gas either. Never had a gas sipper lol.
Wow, this got randomly bumped.
Anyway, my lifetime average (just under 41k miles since it was new off the showroom floor in February 2007) is around 21.7 mpg. I've seen as high as 30.4 mpg on all freeway (not exactly hypermiling but I was purposely trying to get better gas mileage and keeping the A/C off and driving around 65-70 mph), but I did get 27.1 mpg once with the A/C on and going 75-80 mph to and from my cousin's house to watch the Pacquiao-De La Hoya fight back in December 2008.
Extremes aside, highway driving will usually get me something between 23-26 mpg if the tank is all highway. City driving is usually between 18-20 mpg. However, my drive to work and back is usually right around 18-18.5 mpg since I have a short commute (three miles) that goes through mostly red lights.
To clarify, I have a bone stock Evo IX SE, and the only thing that's different is the tires, which are stock-sized Z1 Star Specs that I inflate to 36 front, 33 rear.

210-250 miles per tank [about 12gallons]
On average i do about 65% highway, and 35% road. Drive style is mixed between cruising, spirited and some WOT's.

250 miles on a tank in all city spirited driving. 270 with a mix of city and highway. 290ish all highway, with a best of 312 on a long distance drive. All with a badly scaled MAF sensor.
I usually fill up ~12 gallons. So I'm around 21 to 27 mpg. I wish I could crack 30!

Wow, bumped from the dead, last post was 2008,
Anyway.
On 93- 23-24MPG
On E85 19-20 MPG
I do at least 120 miles a day, so my trips to the E85 station are frequent.
Sometimes, I bring an extra 5 gal container to have at home,

Does anyone know exactly how big the tank is on the IX? I took my IX MR out for a long drive, and was a long way from any gas stations... thought I was gonna run out! I filled up and got 14.376 gallons. I look online and some specs say the tank is 14 gallons, so I'm guessing the tank was pretty much dry at that point
