Help car wont shut off

Started off with the turbo timer flickering.

Then the car battery died after a couple days of not driving.

Then eventually the car wouldnt shut off. even when I pulled the key out.

I figured it was the turbo timer so I Brought the car to the alarm place that installed my car and they disconnected the apexi turbo timer. Still no luck as the car wont shut off. I shut the car off by stalling and disconnecting the battery. HELP!

Mods: flash, apexi turbo timer, cams, bolt ons.

*Update* problem solved

lol that car is ment to be driven, listen to the car, DRIVE IT!!! its a transformer. jokin,

But all jokes aside, I think this might require dealer attention, if its not responding to a ignition cut.

well i hope its not what happened to me. my car would not start at times, the immobilizer was kickin on for some reason....battery kept dying....horn would go off for no reason....

anyway, took it to the dealer. they started it, and it would not shut off. turned out being corrosion on 2 harnesses. i ended up getting a hell of a deal, but thats only cause they messed up. yours is 2 years newer so i'd hope thats not what it is but theres a chance i guess. good luck with it.

From: Flyover country.
Start with removing the driver side left kicker panel and disconnecting and inspecting the harnesses that are there. See if there's any rust. Reconnect, see if it helps...

You problem have a wire that is grounded. You need to check out your wiring to ensure that you have no grounds that would cause your car to continue running. I would say it may require taking into the dealer for them to find the ground.

If you swith the key to the ON position before you start it, and then take the key out, does it stay ON?

Did you replace the whole harness or just some cleaning, little more detail would be helpfull.

Hope you got the problem solved. It might be the guys don't know how to install your turbo timer and got some wires wired wrong. Any how, good luck.

i'm going to guess just a repair/cleaning job. Those harness are $$$$$. Trust me, mine were just replaced.

Another member on here went the route you did, and then still had problems shortly after. Having worked in electronics and cable building before, replacement of corroded wiring is best fixed by replacement. I hope it works out for you.

Just make sure for you guys that are replacing your harnesses to seal up that darn grommet.

I agree that cleaning the contacts is reall not an option here. You really need to hard solder all the connections. The damage to the exposed portion of the wire is already done making it very brittle. so cleaning off the pins is still leaving you with brittle pin connection.

Cut the wire back a little and hard solder them. You'll never have an issue again
