What other cars are comparable to the Evo IX's overall performance?

+1 an RS4 and a bone stock IX are about dead equal in pull. I came off a stop light one time trying to merge in front of an rs4 in my 2005 Evo VIII and I was not able to pull on him at all, we stuck dead even up until 3rd then I had to change lanes. 
I had a AMS reflash and a catback exhaust, my setup might be a tad bit faster than a stock IX but it's close.

There's so much delusion on this forum it's laughable. People are seriously trying to compare an Evo to an E92 M3 or RS4? Wow.

Yea one of the VPs at my work has an RS4. It's effin SWEET but she doesn't know how to drive it. I have to get her to give me the keys for a day so I can show her how it's done 
I went from an evo to a 97 tt Supra, two different beats, but god the top end on supras are NUTS!!! I love the car and with some simple suspension mods and a single conversion they are heaven!!! They can be had for ~25k, drop 4K into the motor (which will put ya ~600whp) and ~3k into suspnension and you have one bad *** car! Trust me I know ;0)
