Found my boost leak

So as the title says, I could hear a major leak while under load so I ordered a lower intercooler pipe and after pulling off my bumper I found the problem....see picture below.. (they kinda suck took them with my phone) not sure how the hell it happened since the bumper was fine. The stock pipe was almost smooshed flat. The car runs like a champ now huge difference.

You would think you would remember running over something big enough to do that! Glad you got the nice upgraded pipes!

Did you buy your car used? If so I would say that car was in an accident and they just replaced the front bumper and that's it.

I wonder if you buy the Evo new or used. If it's used, it could have been into an accident before that's why it's bent.

Is your car lowered? Bet it was a speed bump.

it feels like hundred, i actually had to turn the boost down it was making 21 lbs before, my fist pull its made 24.

yeah I bought it used, but Im figuring the bumper was the original cause it still has the VIN sticker on it which if you try to peel off it just says void

Maybe the previous owner thought there was something seriously wrong with the car and decided to sell it quickly?

I'm installing my LICP this week. My stock one doesn't look like yours, but it'll still be an improvement.

that's crazy, it would have taken something with some force to make that dent.
