Post I have 35 grand.

Hey every one i am a newb here but i am getting a 400,000 inheritance and i am willing to spend 35 grand on a evo, i can find a evo 8 for 20g easy i just wanted to know what performance/visual upgrades i should get with the extra 15g's

i figured i would ask here it being the most legit forum of evo owners i could find.

For starters, I'll suggest you get used to the car bone stock, then decide which parts you want to enhance. My tips for first mods are: TBE, nice clean BOV and some coilovers.

Buy a used 8 and send it to Buschur Racing. Give him 25k and youll have a reliable 500whp pump gas DD EVO

+1. Then invest the rest into something smart like stocks or save it. Dont spend it on foolish materilistic things.

Get an Evo as close to stock as you can find, then take pride in adding parts one at a time to feel the joys of tuning.

go find a good financial advisor, then find an Evo.
Whats your goals with the $$? house, school, retirement...
if invested properly you can make that $$ work for you very well.

As far as the evo aftermarket parts you asked about, what is it you are looking for? are you going to race it, show it etc. these will determine what and where to buy

More for show i care about speed but i am not going to be racing left and right ya know

find a BONE STOCK EVO man. try south coast mitsubishi from Southern california. then go from there. thats the best bet. good luck man and yes invest that money dont be dumb and spend it on stupid stuff....
