Do some research and spend 25K on an Evo 8 that has already been modded to your liking. That's what I would do. Save yourself a bunch of time and money.

I know "exactly" how you feel. I was lucky enough to find a used 8 with low miles, decent price, and in good shape. Mod your car wisely, and definitely be smart with that $. I would be speechless if I was in your shoes
