I have 35 grand.
Hey every one i am a newb here but i am getting a 400,000 inheritance and i am willing to spend 35 grand on a evo, i can find a evo 8 for 20g easy i just wanted to know what performance/visual upgrades i should get with the extra 15g's
i figured i would ask here it being the most legit forum of evo owners i could find.

I have an idea, listen to people on a car forum and be broke in a few years
get a finicial advisor and invest the money for a long term investment. If your not already in college, pay for your own college. Buy a car, but spending 35k on a evo to take a HUGE hit for when you sell it seems pretty retarded in my opinion. Get a part time job and enjoy your summers (if your young) if you want to do that.
if your smart, this could really benefit you later on in life. Dont be like the dumbass i know who spent $125,000 in 2 months. Buying things when your young and pretending to be ballin' is all fun and great until the money supply runs out. I'd get a stock evo and drive it around, you might be suprised how fun it is and decide to only mildly mod it (i bought parts before i even had the car, and now im leaving it stock).
One last thing, DONT let the other sex know you have money
Why should you sorta kinda listen to my advice? Because i just turned 20 and have a net worth of over 800k and growing!

Sorry for your loss
. $35 grand is plenty for a sweet daily evo. Buy one bone stock if youre going to really spend $15 gs on upgrades. Check out our show and shine section to get a good idea of the many sweet variety of wheels that give our cars that stance and all of the different body styling. I suggest www.rexpeed.net for all your carbon needs at very reasonable prices and great quality/fitment. Im close to you, in south GA. Hit me up if you have any Qs.

Tell me how much of that was actually from money that you earned (not money you inherited (or were given) and invested) and I'll give you a high five.
Anyway to the OP I think you spending 35k of your inheritance is great. You only live once and you still have 165k to invest elsewhere... I sure wish I had rich relatives
If it was me i'd buy an evo and a gixxer.

Anyway, at one time I had around the OP's amount, and I doubled it in 10 years so give me a high five for that!
Have fun, just dont go overboard!
