Emissions Please help!

Hey guys hope you can give me some insight on what my problem might be... I live in Washington state and I have a 03 8 that wont pass emissions.. I have returned the car back to stock as possible the only thing on the car is the cam gears set to dead 0 on both and HKS 264/272's... but when I try to get it to pass emissions it says that the O2's and the Cat monitors are not ready...

Any suggestions?

Thanks any info would help

emissions requirements are by county in WA.

One easy, although shady, option is to re-register in a county that doesn't require testing. http://www.ecy.wa.gov/programs/air/pdfs/Zip_codes07.pdf

good luck.

Did you flash out the rear o2 sensor check? If you did it will throw that kind of problem. Run a ODBII code scanner on it and see if you come up with any error codes too

monitors not completed.... you have to drive the car until it passes all of its self tests. clearing out codes deletes all of the self tests. drive car until all monitors complete, if a monitor fails it will set a code, and you will have to fix it not just clear it

so you have a cell that you keep erasing. You have a cat, hmmm stock cat? Do you do hpde or ?
Just wonder if the cat has been damaged from overheating .. but I really don't know what to suggest. I was able to pass with 262 cams, an anti fouler and a high flow cat.
Unless, have you been flashing the latest round of thinking on cat cels(?), which isn't quite there yet, the anti fouler is your easiest path. If you have not and you are sure of the reason for failure(as you stated above) and its not something slightly different , whoo, I don't know.
