removing stock muffler?

oh ya forgot to mention i had a catback system lol. I just wanted a meaner sound out of my basically stock evo lol. and even if it is a 2 hp restriction, hey i gained 2hp and lost a few lbs so either way i dont really care.
LEAVE THE DAMN MUFFLER ON!!!! MUFFLER DELETES DO ABSOLUTLY NOTHING....ITS THW DOWNPIPE. OMG ITS A 30K DOLLAR CAR LEAVE THE MUFFLER ON AND BUY A 180 DOLLAR dp AND 300 DOLAR CATBACK
