You won't break anything by putting on the HKS intake, but I wouldn't mess with the boost until you have someone tune it. Happy spooling

I had an intake for a couple months without a tune and didn't have any problems.

You will be fine with adding the intake and leaving the boost alone.

Sean noticed that it was slightly lean and adjusted it a little but could have left it there. It's always better to have the tune scheduled when you decide to do a mod but you'll be just fine. As for the symptoms your friend is talking about, it sounds like someone forgot to plug the MAF back in.
Can you explain what is FMIC? Intercooler piping, lower and upper I guess? What is MBC?

I am on the plan for intake + tune too.

FMIC = Front Mount Intercooler (upgrade to the factory system - better core and/or piping)
MBC = Manual Boost Controller
