Did you try a fuel pump , also the wires could be corroded in the fuse panel. Are you throwing any codes? Put the stock FP back in to see if it is the pump.

Pull the 40amp fuse under the hood, place it back in and see if it starts.

Also check the #8 fuse to see if it blew, it's a 20a fuse. If so the wiring to the o2 sensor is shorting out.

Not throwing any codes, i'll try pulling the fuses like you said, hopefully it's something that simple.

Thanks everyone for the input, any more suggestions are always welcomed.

Turned out to be engine control fuse. Now the car has trouble idling starting up (have to give it gas to actually get to normal RPMs) which I'm assuming once I have some time to drive around that'll get the alternater all recharged. This didn't affect the tune flash that I have on it does it? Just in case I'm going to reflash the car most likely and see how it goes. Thanks for your help! Saved me a good amount of money.

good to hear it was nothing serious. as for the idling, it doesn't sound like it has anything to do with the battery or altenator. the altenator doesn't need charging? it charges the battery?
assuming your tune was lost, the re-flash will probably fix the idle...

You can't lose a tune. Your idle problem may be another issue. Start the car and let it idle up to operating temp. This will allow the ECU to learn its idle fuel trims and may smooth the idle.

Just wanted to add, this same thing happened to my 06 MR and i thought for sure it was an alternator, turns out it was the ignition coil fuse that has blown...so just make sure to check all your fuses!!!

If this is happening to several cars, what is causing it? Is is a bad ground on the fuel pump?

Did you have someone try to help you jump start the car? If that doesn't work, I'm guessing it's probably the fuel pump. Yesterday I install my Walbro fuel pump, I remove the power to the pump and start the car so that there isn't pressure on the gas lines, I get the igniting and trying to start but wouldn't start. Good luck
