GO Honda! I love my EVO but like everyone has said, if you wanna play you gotta pay cost is expensive for up keep. My friend has an 07 si and he loves it better mpg and mods arent as expensive but he definately cant keep up!

With gas what it is right now, there are times when I wish I had bought a civic.

just buy a civic. Its quick and good on gas. the evo gets about 19ish mpg and if you are boosting alot, just forget about gas mileage. Atleast with the si, you can get on it and not throw out your $$

That's a lot of miles on the evo. If you really truly want an evo then shop around. But if you want a SI then get a SI. Its really what you want. I have a civic right now but i am going to sell it so i can get the evo. 4wd is wonderful. Test drive both of them and see which one you would like. But for 20k is not worthed it, a couple more $$$ you will find a low mileage one.

Im only 18 and my parents never helped me with any of my cars even though ive only had 2 including the Evo, but im sure thats not the case for everyone. I only pay 3200 a year for my Evo which isnt bad at all and if your intrested in travling I think someone in MA was selling a Rally Red Evo 8 with 20k miles for 20k but im not sure if he sold it yet or not.

19ish yes , but i got a few mods and cams too. pushing so decent HP and getting 25 to 27 mpg but the key is getting the car tuned probley and my numbers are with my boosting around town. I've seen 30mpg with mostly highway driving.

the new Si is pretty slick looking. the high mileage evo isnt so attractive with the gas prices these days. tough call. i would go with the new car though.
