I think its so the japanese can laugh at us when we make threads asking what it is. Even if it was for climate control, climate control evos are RHD no? Maybe a few euro models got it, IDK

That's weird cause just 2 days ago my GF noticed that and asked what it was. I have never noticed it in the 2 years I've had the car. Partially because you can't see it behind the steering wheel when driving.

I told her it shot out a mist to knock someone out if they tried hot wiring my car. She believed it... nice! But seriously I think it's the auto climate control location that just never got added from the Euro Spec ones.
